Our campus is located less than one mile from one of the most stunning tourist destinations in the world – Lake Tahoe, and is at the center of the unique and vibrant community of Incline Village, Nevada. Students, faculty and visitors have endless access to outdoor recreation, dining, community events and more.

The campus features thoughtfully designed classrooms, scientific laboratories, meeting rooms, multi-use event spaces and two art galleries. These spaces support a wide range of learning styles and academic disciplines. Whether you are conducting research, collaborating on a group project or presenting your latest idea, you will find the environment supportive and inspiring.

Student housing: comfortable and convenient

Living on campus enhances your overall experience by placing you at the center of academic, social and recreational life. The University of Nevada, Reno at Lake Tahoe offers housing that is both practical and enriching.

Total rooms available: 88 rooms

  • Single-occupancy room: $5,300 per semester
  • Double-occupancy room: $3,700 per semester

By living on the Lake Tahoe Campus, you gain access to a supportive environment that encourages connection, independence and academic focus—all within walking distance of your classes, the dining hall and Lake Tahoe’s natural beauty.

Parking permits

All vehicles at the University of Nevada, Reno at Lake Tahoe's Wayne L. Prim Campus must display a valid parking permit, either a semester permit or a daily permit. Daily permits can be purchased for $2 per hour via PayByPhone in the Blue 1 lot south of Prim Library, with enforcement in effect Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Dining services: nourishment for the body and mind

A full-service cafeteria is available on campus, offering meals that are both nutritious and accommodate a wide range of dietary needs. Meal plans are specifically designed for students living on campus, making it easy to stay focused on your studies while enjoying fresh, balanced food throughout the day.

Catering services are also available for campus events, meetings and gatherings, ensuring that community life is always well-fed and well-supported.
