Consortium for Overseas Student Teaching (COST)

The College of Education is a member institution of COST, a national collaboration that offers U.S. teacher education students the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to student teach overseas. All students enrolled in teacher education programs are eligible to apply.

HDFS Pre-Professional Opportunities

As part of the HDFS major, students will have the opportunity to apply what they have learned in the classroom in an actual hands-on professional internship that they can list on their resume.

Student Teacher Internships

The Office of Clinical Experiences helps prepare educators by placing students in internships at local and out of area public schools. These hands-on experiences are vital in giving students the experience they need to succeed in the classroom.
