This major prepares students to work with individuals and their families. Our Human Development & Family Science bachelor's degree program is ranked top 5 in the far western U.S. region.

This innovative program prepares you to be an elementary teacher in Nevada for grades K-8. In addition, you earn an additional license or endorsement that enables you to be effective and prepared for today’s diverse classrooms: (1) early childhood education, (2) special education, and/or (3) English as a second language.

NevadaTeach is for anybody interested in teaching secondary math or science, and anyone interested in adding an extra career option to their STEM degree.

The Secondary Education Program is committed to preparing teachers who are able to meet the challenges of today's classrooms.

Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education, major in Physical Education [BS]
