What will I learn in a physics degree program?

The bachelor’s degree in physics at the University of Nevada, Reno studies fundamental forces and processes from the subatomic to the astronomical scale. You build a foundation in core scientific principles while developing quantitative and problem-solving skills applicable across disciplines. In addition to required coursework, you may pursue advanced electives in areas such as computational techniques, nuclear physics and relativity.
