Outstanding Community-Engaged Learning Community Partner Award
The Outstanding Community-Engaged Learning Community Partner Award recognizes a community partner who demonstrates exceptional commitment to collaborating with community-engaged learning (CEL) courses and creating meaningful, impactful learning experiences for students. This award celebrates partnerships that strengthen connections between the university and community while advancing shared goals and community well-being.
The Office of Community-Engaged Learning & Leadership annually selects an outstanding community partner for their vital role in promoting successful community-engaged learning or scholarship experiences. This award is given at the Civic Learning and Democratic Engagement Breakfast, and the organization receives a commemorative plaque honoring their exceptional contributions.
- Eligibility: All organizations that have partnered with any University of Nevada, Reno service-learning (SL) or community-engaged learning (CEL) course.
- Evaluation criteria: A committee of experienced faculty in community engagement will conduct the evaluations.
- Nomination: The nominator completes the award application and submits the nomination by the end of the Fall semester, or by the end of March for the Spring semester.
