Transfer agreements

Transfer agreements outline the path to completion for the associate and bachelor’s degrees. Students are strongly encouraged to review major program requirements at the University of Nevada, Reno. Students should speak with an Academic Advisor to select courses that satisfy major-specific lower-division Core Curriculum requirements.

With the exception of ENG 102 and CH 203, students with associate degrees may receive lower-division Core Curriculum waivers based on the requirement of their major. Lower division Core needed for pre-requisites or major-specific requirements may not be waived. Core waivers will be processed upon receipt of final official transcripts with the degree posted.

Bachelor's degree holders can transfer to the University without additional lower-division core courses (except ENG 102 and CH 203). Because major-specific requirements vary, students should check the catalog and consult an academic advisor.
