Turnitin’s plagiarism detection

Turnitin is a web-based plagiarism detection software and educational tool available to University instructors through WebCampus Assignments. Turnitin’s Similarity Report can identify similarities between student work and existing sources (including millions of student papers and journal articles, plus billions of Internet sources). Turnitin does not automatically detect plagiarism. Ultimately it is up to the instructor and students to interpret the meaning of a Similarity Report.
