Parents and Family

The parent and family session is part of the overall new student orientation experience. Orientation programs for parents includes many of the same workshops as the students, including reviewing academic preparedness and support, campus recreation and wellness, and helping students make the transition to college. Components of the parents program are separate from students, there is time to connect with your student and to take care of business while on campus. By attending parent orientation, you'll learn about the student support services available that can help you provide greater support to your student as they become a member of the University.  The cost for the Parent program is $75 per parent.  This covers program materiels, food, and program operation.
