Summary
Hello! My name is Olivia and I am the Administrative Assistant for the College of Liberal Arts Student Center. I grew up in Las Vegas, NV, and moved to Reno in 2019 to begin my B.A. in Art with an emphasis in Painting and a minor in Business Administration. I graduated with my degree in May of 2023 and began this job about a month later. During my time as a student, I was part of the color guard with the Wolf Pack Marching Band in Fall 2019 and Fall 2022. This was a brand-new sport for me to learn when I started college (very scary at first but ultimately very fun!). I was also the treasurer of the University of Nevada, Reno Art Club (UNRtists) during the 2022-2023 academic year. I worked as a Student Desk Attendant at the dorms here on campus for about two years. This allowed me to get close with fellow students and be involved with Residential Life and Housing.
I enjoy painting, doing arts and crafts, and collecting CDs in my free time. I encourage students to get involved with clubs and organizations on campus. My job as an administrative assistant allows me to remain within the Nevada community that I have grown to love over the years. I look forward to interacting with students and helping undergraduates throughout their college career!
Fun Facts: I serve on the Committee on the Status of Women for faculty/staff.
