Summary

Languages: English and Armenian

I am a proud first-generation student. I am Black and Armenian, and my heritage is integral to understanding who I am as a person. Growing up, I would move back and forth from Los Angeles to Las Vegas each year, so I consider both my home! In 2021, I graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in International Business with an emphasis in Marketing and obtaining my minor in Arabic Language and Middle Eastern Cultures. During my undergrad, I was able to study abroad twice (London and Armenia)! Currently, I'm pursuing a Master's in Business Administration and plan to graduate in Spring 2024!

My academic and professional journey has taken me to different corners of the world, enriching my experiences and perspectives. During my undergrad, I created and sustained a successful e-commerce confection company. After graduation, I moved to Armenia, where I was able to work in the public and private sectors, mainly focusing on tech and startups. Once I was admitted to grad school, I relocated back to Reno in 2023 and have been working at the University since. If you'd like to learn more about my professional journey, please connect with me on LinkedIn!

I've been actively engaged in various clubs and organizations during my time on campus, which allowed me to meet some of the best people and gain valuable leadership experience. I am honored to have served as President of Sigma Alpha Epsilon PI, a Jewish interest sorority within the multicultural Greek council. Additionally, I was Vice President of Pledge Education for Delta Sigma Pi, a co-ed professional business fraternity. I also contributed to the re-founding of the Order of Omega, a leadership honor society for members of the Greek community.

My favorite part of being an academic advisor is the opportunity to help students in various aspects of their educational journey. Whether it's providing academic advice, social support, or any other form of assistance, I'm dedicated to offering advice and sharing tips, tricks, and resources to empower students on their path to success.

My love for Armenia is profound, and I dream of returning all the time. I enjoy socializing in my free time, whether hosting or attending dinner parties or events or going out; I'm always interested in spending time with those I love and meeting new people. Traveling is another passion I've embraced, and I've had the opportunity to explore over 10 countries since starting college.
