Administrative Faculty Grant

The College of Liberal Arts provides grants of up to $900 for administrative faculty who have been employed by the College for at least one year. These grants are to be used for professional advancement and other specialized activities relevant to job-related professional growth. Grants may fund costs related to such activities as job-relevant training workshops, conferences, seminars and certificate programs, or for presenting a paper at a conference. These examples are not inclusive and staff members should check with Sharon Brush and/or Melissa Samon if they have questions about whether an activity would be covered by this program.

Grant applications should consist of the following:

  1. A description (maximum of one page) of the proposed activity/material and how it meets the expectations of this program.
  2. An itemized budget.

Please submit applications to Sharon Brush and Melissa Samon. Applications will be reviewed by CLA administrative faculty and the Dean. They will be approved if they meet the qualifications and until the limited funding for this program is exhausted.
