Summary
Josh is a pre-professional advisor for pre-health and pre-law students and has been working at the University of Nevada, Reno, since 2019. He earned his undergraduate degree in chemistry from Purdue University and earned a master’s degree in Ministerial Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan University.
Josh has almost 20 years of experience working with students and offering them guidance in varying capacities. He is very involved in the pre-professional field with participation as a board member for the Western Association of Advisors for the Health Professions (WAAHP), a member of the Media and Publications Committee for the National Association of Advisors for the Health Professions (NAAHP), a member of the executive board for the Western Association of Pre-Law Advisors (WAPLA), and as part of the MMI interviewing team for UNR Med. Josh has taught ACE 100, ACE 101 and HON 109, is the faculty advisor for several pre-health clubs on campus, and has brought the law school fair to the University.
In his free time, Josh enjoys playing guitar and singing with his faith community, following collegiate sports and spending any time he can with his family travelling and doing all things Tahoe.
