Nicole Wadden

Summary

Nicole Wadden graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Science in 2016 and a master's degree in Human Development and Family Science in 2019. Wadden interned for Path to Independence from 2015-2017 and loved helping the students socialize on campus, find internships and work experiences, and make the most of their college experience. As the Path to Independence employment coordinator, she works with students on job placement after they complete the program.

Wadden is also a track and field alum from 2012-2017. Her events were the heptathlon (outdoor) and pentathlon (indoor). She earned All-American status in 2017 and currently holds the school records in the outdoor high jump and indoor pentathlon.

Wadden is originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, and moved to Reno in 2012. She is married to L.J. Jackson, a former football player at the University of Nevada, Reno, and they have two dogs, Ace and Smokey.
