Summary

Jill Fontana is a 5th generation native Nevadan born and raised in the Reno-Sparks area. She received her bachelor's degree in criminal justice at the University of Nevada, Reno in 1991. She has more than fifteen years of experience in student services, including admissions, advising and student recruitment. She has worked extensively with students at Truckee Meadows Community College and the University of Nevada, Reno, including the School of Medicine. While working on a second bachelor's degree at University in interior design, her passion for design was ignited. She moved to the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex to pursue an interior design career for eight years. The draw of family and friends brought her back to Nevada. In the past, she has partnered with Habitat for Humanity and Big Brothers Big Sisters organizations to volunteer on various design projects. She still pursues design and remodeling activities and is looking forward to "flipping" property in the Reno area. Her hobbies include scrapbooking, kayaking, hiking and cycling and she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
