Summary
Natalie Sanchez is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She is an AAMFT and NV approved supervisor for Marriage and Family Therapy Interns and Clinical Professional Counselor Interns. Natalie is committed to training and supporting mental health professionals to work in the state of Nevada. Natalie is a co-founder and is the Clinical Director at Health Psychology Associates. Natalie is passionate about supporting quality access to mental health care by offering services to children, adolescents, individuals, and families from the Medicaid population in addition to other commercial insurance plans. She serves as the Chair of the Safe and Healthy Schools Commission for Washoe County School District and as Community Faculty for the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. She is a frequent presenter and speaker advocating for children’s mental health and vulnerable populations. She spent her early childhood throughout rural Nevada, including Elko, Battle Mountain, and Lovelock. These experiences led to a professional commitment to serving frontier communities. Natalie is thrilled to be working with the Nevada Center for Excellence in Disabilities at the University of Nevada, Reno.
