Summary

Danielle McIntosh is a Professional Learning Coordinator for the Nevada Center for Excellence in Disabilities PBIS Technical Assistance Center, located within the College of Education and Human Development. Her primary role is to partner with school leadership teams to evaluate and sustain Multi-Tiered Systems of Support through technical assistance and training. McIntosh specializes in the area of academics and literacy supports within an MTSS. McIntosh was previously with the Washoe County School District for 20 years in various roles. She was an elementary-level educator, a S.T.E.M. Instructional Coach, a Literacy Coach, an English Language Development Coach, as well as a Professional Development Trainer for WCSD’s Department of Professional Learning. 12 of her 20 years with WCSD were spent supporting school-based MTSS in RTI and PBIS. McIntosh received her Master of Education Degree in Advanced Teaching and Leadership with an emphasis on Teaching English as a Second Language in 2014. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education degree, which she received at the University of Nevada, Reno in 2003. She also holds a Nevada License for Educational Personnel in Elementary Education with an additional credential for Teaching English as a Second Language.
