Summary

Amanda O’Reilly serves as an MTSS Professional Learning Coordinator for the Nevada Center for Excellence in Disabilities PBIS Technical Assistance Center, housed within the College of Education and Human Development. In this role, she partners with school leadership teams across Nevada to evaluate and sustain Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) through specialized technical assistance, training, and coaching, with a particular focus on PBIS and academic support.

Prior to her current position, Mrs. O’Reilly served as the Director of Head Start and Early Head Start in Reno. Her extensive background includes 23 years in Texas public school districts, where she served in various capacities, including elementary Assistant Principal, Student Intervention Team Coordinator, educator, team leader, professional learning facilitator, and mentor within Title I schools. Throughout her career, she has dedicated her expertise to systems improvement, ensuring all students receive high-quality, responsive educational experiences.

Ms. O’Reilly holds a Master of Education in Educational Administration (2020) and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of North Texas (2002). She maintains Elementary Education and Principal certifications in both Texas and Nevada, and holds an additional credential for English as a Second Language (ESL).
