That Master of Arts and Master of Science for Elementary Education are programs for practicing teachers who want to improve their skills and content knowledge in particular emphasis areas such as math education, science education, humanities education, STEM and/or and curriculum studies.
The Master's of Education (M.Ed.) degree in elementary education offers you the opportunity to become a licensed teacher at the elementary and middle school levels (K-8). This program is designed for those with a degree in another field who want to become teachers. Some undergraduate prerequisite courses may be necessary, depending on your previous course work.
