Summary

Sheryl joined the academic team as faculty at the Orvis School of Nursing (OSN), University of Nevada, Reno in 2024. Before joining the faculty, she had been a part-time clinical instructor at OSN since 2021. Professor Bennett is passionate about enhancing health outcomes and achieving health equity through school nursing in Nevada and beyond. With over a decade of professional nursing experience in critical care, hospice, and school nursing, Sheryl is dedicated to supporting students in their journey towards nursing, a caring science, and fostering a resilient nursing workforce.
