Summary

Dr. Jackie Ferdowsali is an experienced acute care nurse practitioner, educator and leader with a passion for advancing nursing practice and improving patient outcomes. She began her nursing career at the Cleveland Clinic, where she worked in telemetry and later in the Medical Intensive Care Unit caring for critically ill patients.

Her clinical background includes caring for cardiac and medical patients as a nurse practitioner in intensive care and long-term acute care settings. These experiences shaped her commitment to evidence-based practice, interprofessional collaboration and excellence in patient care.

Dr. Ferdowsali currently oversees the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner track at the Orvis School of Nursing. Her scholarship and professional interests focus on interprofessional education and strategies to improve healthcare outcomes for individuals, families and populations. She is dedicated to mentoring future nurse practitioners and fostering collaborative approaches to healthcare delivery.
