Students, faculty, staff, professional mentors and the general public can view Capstone projects created by civil and environmental engineering students at the CEE Innovation Day, 1 to 4 p.m. April 29 at the Harry Reid Engineering Laboratory, 109/110.

Student design teams worked diligently over the last year to identify challenges in the community and to develop engineering solutions that demonstrate their skills and knowledge in multiple subdisciplines of civil and environmental engineering. The Senior Capstone Innovation Day event will showcase posters, demonstrations, and design plans of 21 unique design projects. This year’s projects include:

  • Residential and commercial development projects
  • Waste water treatment facility expansion
  • Transportation facility improvements
  • Community recreation centers
  • On campus athletic facilities

A list of all College of Engineering Capstone projects will be posted in May on the College of Engineering Innovation Day website.
