The University Studies Abroad Consortium® is a non-profit study abroad organization headquartered at the University of Nevada. USAC prides itself on providing quality, affordable study abroad programs and offers programs in 26 different countries.
OISS encourages students and researchers from other nations to come to Nevada. The staff provides information regarding visas, international student admission, employment options, and cultural adjustment.
The International Center brings more than 300 international visitors annually to Northern Nevada. Visiting delegations come here to meet with their professional counterparts and with local community members face to face.
Established in 1982 the Intensive English Language Center provides English language instruction to students preparing for university study and to students wishing to improve their general English ability.
Academic Credit Options at Extended Studies has been collaborating with various University colleges, departments and programs to offer international travel and field study programs throughout the year and around the world for more than 30 years. With faculty-led travel programs, students earn academic credit while traveling abroad!
