Eligibility requirements

  • Nevada resident
  • Pursuing first bachelor’s degree at the University of Nevada, Reno
  • Full-time student (15 credits per semester)
  • Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Institutional Methodology form each year
  • Meet eligibility criteria for the Federal Pell Grant program and have an SAI (Student Aid Index) of $7,000 or less

What you need to do

  • Apply for admission to the University
  • Complete the FAFSA or Institutional Methodology form each year between Oct. 1 and Feb. 15.
