Summary

Debra Moddelmog is Dean of the College of Liberal Arts Emerita and Professor of English Emerita at the University of Nevada, Reno. She is the author or editor of five books and many articles on American literature, teaching and academic women’s leadership. She also serves on the editorial board of The Hemingway Review and on the advisory board of the Hemingway Letters Project (Cambridge University Press), which is publishing all of Hemingway’s 6,000 extant letters, 85% of which have never been published before. Prior to her six-year tenure as Dean of the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Nevada, Reno (2016-2022), she had a thirty-year career as a professor of English and an administrator at The Ohio State University.
