Seaira Lett is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Georgia. She additionally holds a Master of Education and a B.A. in Spanish and Linguistics. Seaira's research focuses on the morphosemantics and preservation of the San Sebastián Coatán variety of Chuj, a Mayan language spoken in Guatemala. She is passionate about teaching linguistics and encouraging others to engage in language work.
