Registration

Registration for CoLang 2026 will open in mid-February. There are two registration options:

  • Two weeks: workshop session only (June 22 - July 3)
    • General registration fee: $1250
    • Indigenous participant registration fee: $1000
  • Three weeks: Workshop + practica sessions (June 22 - July 10)
    • General registration fee: $1700
    • Indigenous participant registration fee: $1500

CoLang 2026 is pleased to offer a discounted registration fee for participants from Indigenous communities. If you have questions about discounted registration, please contact the CoLang organizers by emailing colang2026@unr.edu.

Housing

The cost of housing is not included in the registration fee. Below are tentative rates for housing in the residence halls at the University of Nevada, Reno. Participants may choose from the following options, or choose to make their own off-campus housing arrangements.

  • Two weeks: workshop session only (June 22 - July 3)
    • Double dorm room on campus: $510
    • Single dorm room on campus: $755
  • Three weeks: Workshop + practica sessions (June 22 - July 10)
    • Double dorm room on campus: $755
    • Single dorm room on campus: $1115

Dorm check-in will take place June 20-21. Check out for workshop-only participants will be on July 4. For those staying for the practica session, checkout will be on July 11.

Note: If you choose to make your own off-campus housing arrangements, you will be responsible for your own transportation to and from CoLang sessions.

Meals

Meal costs are not included in the registration fee. Participants may purchase a meal plan for an additional charge: 

  • Workshop session (June 22 - July 3)
    • On-campus meal plan (3 meals per day, 5 days per week for two weeks): $430
  • Workshop + practica sessions (June 22 - July 10)
    • On-campus meal plan (3 meals per day, 5 days per week for three weeks): $645

Travel

Travel costs are not included in any of the above-listed fees. Participants must make their own travel arrangements.

Funding opportunities

A limited number of scholarships will be available to help support CoLang participants. We will provide more information about these opportunities when registration is open. For more information about finding funding for CoLang, please visit their website.
