Summary
Adrienne Tsikewa (Zuni Pueblo) currently serves as the Project Manager for the West Regional Native American Language Center at the University of Arizona. She holds a Ph.D. in Linguistics from the University of California, Santa Barbara and an M.A. in Native American Languages and Linguistics (NAMA) from the University of Arizona. She served as a CoLang Advisory Circle member and as a co-convenor. She has worked with the American Indian Language Development Institute as a graduate assistant and as a summer instructor. She is involved with Natives4Linguistics, a collaborative project that promotes Indigenous needs and intellectual tools as ways of doing linguistic science. Her research interests include language documentation and description, language regeneration, reclamation and revitalization, sociocultural linguistics, applied linguistics, bilingualism and code-switching. She is from Denver, CO, and her maternal family is from Zuni Pueblo, NM.
