Dustin Anderson Contenti is a graduate student in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Nevada, Reno, specializing in precontact thermal features and geospatial analysis. His research centers on the distribution and morphological variability of roasting pits across the Great Basin, with broader interests in regional-scale patterning and landscape use. He brings over seven years of field and laboratory experience from cultural resource management projects conducted throughout Nevada, Idaho, California, Oregon, Arizona, Utah, and Washington. Mr. Contenti has served as a field technician, lab technician, crew chief, and field director.
