Dorota Zabnicka is a doctoral student pursuing a Ph.D. in anthropology. Her focus lies in biological anthropology, studying subadult decedents through their skeletal remains. Since obtaining her M.A. in 2020, Dorota has been working as a CRM archaeologist on the West Coast and has been an adjunct instructor at Grossmont College and Southwestern College in San Diego, CA, teaching introductory courses in biological anthropology and archaeology. For her PhD, Dorota wants to continue studying subadults and will focus on expanding her knowledge of subadult skeletal variation, aspects that affect skeletal growth, and the plasticity exhibited.
