M.A. thesis title: Radiocarbon Chronology of Hanging Rock Shelter
Bre Gauthier is an M.A. student and a graduate research assistant with the Great Basin Paleoindian Research Unit. Bre has seven years of archaeological fieldwork experience in Oregon, Washington, California, Wyoming, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Texas and now Nevada. Bre spent the 2020 field season working in the Eldorado National Forest of California and the 2021 field season in the Blackhills National Forest of Wyoming before arriving at the University of Nevada, Reno. Bre hopes that her research at the University will develop her skills in lithic analysis, geoarchaeology, radiocarbon dating, paleobotany and palynology.
