General parking

ADA and limited general parking will be available in the Gateway Parking Complex, located on the south end of campus with access via 9th Street and Virginia Street. Additional General parking is available on levels 2-5 of the Brian J. Whalen Parking Complex and the West Stadium Parking Complex, both accessed off of Virginia Street. Shuttle service will be available between the West Stadium Complex and the Quad. Shuttles will run two hours before the ceremony begins and two hours after the ceremony ends. Please follow the shuttle loading/unloading signs to level three in the complex. Be advised there is no shuttle service from the Brian J. Whalen Complex.

ADA parking

ADA parking will be available on level 4 of the Gateway Parking Complex, providing close access to the pedestrian bridge. If you need further assistance, there is a designated drop off area for limited mobile guests near Morrill Hall, on the south side of the Quadrangle. Here, you may drop off guests requiring assistance along with one other individual. This can be accessed by taking Virginia Street to 9th Street and turning east at the entrance to the University marked by the University sign. Ushers will be available to provide a wheelchair escort upon request. A Lyft and Uber drop off area will be located on Virginia Street, at the Manzanita Meters, just across from 10th Street. Please look for signs.

Graduate parking

In an effort to provide close parking for friends and family attending Commencement, we ask that graduates park in the West Stadium Complex. Parking permits are not required during this timeframe.

University of Nevada, Reno at Lake Tahoe

The University of Nevada, Reno at Lake Tahoe’s parking system is based on a zoned parking system. Currently, all parking lots are designated as a Blue 1 parking zone and a Blue 1 parking permit is required to park on campus. Additionally, Blue 1 Lake Tahoe permits are valid on the main campus in the same Blue 1 parking zone. Conversely, all valid main campus parking permits may be utilized on the Lake Tahoe campus in all Blue 1 zones (excluding reserved or metered spaces).
