Summary

Beau Oster is pursuing his Ph.D. in Neuroscience at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine where he has been awarded the Solomon H. Snyder Fellowship from the Neuroscience Training Program.

At the University of Nevada, Reno, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience, with a minor in Philosophy focused on Ethics, Law, and Politics. His research goal is to investigate neurodegeneration and neurological disorders through cellular and molecular approaches. He wants to better understand the neural mechanisms that contribute to neurodegenerative disease pathology. In his free time, Beau enjoys hiking, backpacking, traveling, reading, and staying active.
