This cohort brings the total number of student-athlete graduates to over 1,200 over the past 15 years

A large group of about 50 student-athletes stand smiling at the camera wearing suits and dresses and adorned with graduation regalia.

A total of 56 Nevada student-athletes applied for graduation this weekend as ceremonies for the 133rd Commencement will be held Thursday through Saturday on the University Quadrangle.

Additionally, 11 members of Nevada’s cheer squad will participate in this weekend’s ceremonies.

The athletic department held its annual student-athlete graduation brunch Wednesday in Basin Street Club, at which the student-athletes received their stoles.

Nevada has seen over 1,200 of its student-athletes graduate in the past 15 years, a figure that includes 33 student-athletes who graduated this past December.
