The College boasts the highest number of degrees awarded from a singular academic unit this semester

The College of Business awarded 519 degrees to 434 undergraduate and 85 graduate students at the University’s Spring Commencement ceremony May 19, 2023, on the University’s historic quadrangle.

“Commencement is a great recognition of our community of scholarship including our graduating students, faculty, staff, and alumni,” Gregory Mosier, dean of the College of Business, said. “Together, they are what makes our business Pack great! Congratulations to our graduates.”

The College awarded the most degrees out of a singular academic unit this semester, and marketing and management were the third and fourth most popular undergraduate majors, respectively. The Master of Business Administration was the third most popular graduate degree.

Graduating undergraduate students represented all eight majors offered by the College: accounting, economics, finance, information systems, management, marketing, general business and international business. Graduate students represented the College’s accounting, business administration, economics, finance and information systems programs.
