The Nevada softball team is set to host its inaugural Texas Hold'em Tournament, presented by Big Valley Honda.

"This is a great opportunity to support Nevada Softball and our players," said head coach Linda Garza. "The contributions have a direct impact on our program and what makes this event so special and unique. Our team is hungry and working on a championship. We appreciate Big Valley Honda sponsoring this event and looking forward to our partnership in the future. Get your tickets now and join us for a fun-filled night."

The event will be held on Saturday, February 5 at the Basin Street Club at Mackay Stadium with the reception beginning at 5 p.m. and the tournament at 6 p.m. Sign up online here.

The event will feature a silent auction, with all the proceeds going directly to benefit the Nevada softball team. All contributions made will be used to purchase training aids, provide team-building opportunities and aid the players and staff in the championship vision for the program.

Event details

The poker tournament buy-in is $100 per person, which includes poker, food, spirits, and fun. Tables for 10 are also available for purchase at $1,000. Space is limited to the first 100 poker players. Anyone interested in attending the event but not playing in the tournament can purchase the option of food, spirits attendance, and fun for $50. There will be re-buys available throughout the evening, helping us grow the friendly competition.

If you would like to donate items for the silent auction or if you have any questions about the event, directly please contact Quinton Conaway at 775-682-6974 or vconaway@unr.edu
