Summer hours

Effective May 20-August 25

E. L. Wiegand Building

  • Monday-Friday: 6 a.m.-10 p.m.
  • Saturday: 8 a.m.-10 p.m.
  • Sunday: 10 a.m-10 p.m.

Lombardi Pool

  • Monday-Friday: 12-2 p.m., 4:30-6:30 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday: Closed

John Sala Field

  • Monday-Sunday: 6-9 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday: 11 a.m.-3 p.m., 6-9 p.m.

Closure during flooring project

Due to a flooring project, all fitness rooms and gymnasium will be closed from July 28-August 24. There will be no drop-in classes from July 27-August 25.

Please be advised that the resurfacing products used during the maintenance period may affect the air quality within the fitness center and in open areas. Some areas may be temporarily closed for air quality and safety purposes. Please pay attention to signage throughout the facility. Group fitness classes resume August 26.

Fitness and Recreational Sports (FRS) is a university department offering Nevada students the opportunity to live an active lifestyle. FRS is housed in the E. L. Wiegand Fitness Center.

Memberships

A membership allows access to E. L. Wiegand Fitness Center and drop-in classes as well as the pool located inside Lombardi Recreation.
