Spencer Cortright is graduating with a bachelor’s degree in forest management & ecology, with a minor in environmental science. He worked in Peter Weisberg’s lab on a project studying drought resilience in single-leaf pinyon pine. He will spend his summer working in Sarah Bisbing’s lab on the Sierra Nevada Adaptive Management Experiment, a project to identify alternative forest management treatments that will improve conifer forest resistance and resilience to climate change.
