The Outstanding Senior Award recognizes graduating students who have excelled academically and have improved leadership in our College.

The Department of Nutrition is pleased to name Anjelica Borick for Outstanding Nutrition Student in Dietetics Award. Anjelica chose to major in Nutrition with a dietetics specialization at UNR after completing her Associate of Science degree with an emphasis in dietetics from Truckee Meadows Community College. Anjelica exhibits outstanding scholastic ability and is a top performer in her classes. She is dedicated to meeting her goal of becoming a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and specializing in the area of pediatrics or working with Native American communities. Teaching children and adolescents about balanced nutrition and maintaining a healthy relationship with food, as well as helping to address nutritional inequities in underserved communities, are deep passions of Anjelica’s. In addition to being an exceptional student, she is a devoted mother to her 6-year-old daughter, who has also inspired Anjelica’s career goals and aspirations. Congratulations on receiving the 2021 Outstanding Nutrition Student in Dietetics Award!
