Mira Newby will be graduating with a major in Veterinary Science. This fall, she’ll begin veterinary school at Washington State University, having also been accepted to Mississippi State University and Oregon State University.. Where does Mira see herself in five years? “I hope to be practicing or doing an internship as an exotic animal veterinarian.”🥼 While at the university, Mira accumulated quite a list of accolades! She was the recipient of multiple scholarships to fund her research and education, including the Nevada Agricultural Foundation scholarship and the Harvey and Thelma Reynolds scholarship. Mira was also a NevadaFIT mentor in 2018 and 2019 and the Vice President of CABNR ambassadors in spring 2020. We wish you the best of luck in veterinary school, Mira!
