Kristen A. Broehl is currently a doctoral student with research focused on the bioarchaeology of California. She is particularly interested in the biological structure, migration and social roles of prehistoric societies. She also researches commingling and alternative methods for estimating the biological profile in forensic anthropology and has archaeological experience in California, Indiana, Tennessee, Georgia, Mississippi and Poland.
