M.A. thesis title: The NAGPRA, The "Numics," and the "Spirit Cave Man:" Determining Cultural Affiliation in the Great Basin
Diane is currently a doctoral candidate and a faculty research assistant in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Nevada, Reno. She co-edited Collaborative Archaeology at Stewart Indian School and continues publishing on research focused on collaboration and decolonizing archaeology. Diane has spent the last 34 years working toward the protection of tribal culture and heritage and the revitalization in the Great Basin of the western United States.
