UNR Parking Online System will be unavailable due to system upgrade 9/21/15 - 10/2/15
The University of Nevada, Reno Parking and Transportation Services Online system will be down for a system upgrade starting Monday 9/21/15 through Friday 10/2/15. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. During this time, if you need to purchase a permit, pay a parking citation or appeal a parking citation, please go to the Parking and Transportation Services Office, Building #106 - located on the corner of North Virginia and 16th Street.
If you need a daily parking permit, there are pay and display parking permit dispensers located on the top floor of the West Stadium Parking Complex. A daily permit in this area is $5 per day and the machines accepts cash, coin and major credit cards.
Visitor parking relocation due to construction of E. L. Wiegand Fitness Center (Updated 7/16/15)
The E. L. Wiegand Fitness Center construction will begin June 1, 2015. In preparation, all hourly metered parking in the large lot at 15th Street has been relocated. Effective Friday 7/17/15, hourly parking will be located on the bottom floor of the Brian Whalen Parking Complex at $1.50 per hour, with a four-hour maximum. This hourly parking area provides visitors close proximity to frequently visited campus buildings. Daily parking is now available on the top floor of the West Stadium Parking Complex accessed off of 16th Street.
Ongoing Campus Construction:
William N. Pennington Student Achievement Center - Updated 5/18/15
The construction fencing on the south side of the Pennington Student Achievement Center will be expanded southward, directly adjacent to the north side of Thompson Hall to facilitate walkway and landscape construction. The fencing will remain in this location from May 18, 2015 through August 14, 2015. Traffic through this area will be routed to the south of Thompson Hall and east of Jot Travis. For two weeks only, from May 18 through June 1, the sidewalk area (shown in red on this map) will be closed to all traffic. Pedestrian traffic will be re-routed through the north side of the Jot Travis Plaza, which includes a stairway. A temporary ADA route is available around the south side of Jot Travis on the walkway above Manzanita Lake. There are no provisions for service vehicle or cart access during this two weeks.
From June 1 to August 14, 2015, pedestrian, ADA, cart and service vehicle access around the south and east side of the construction site will be available by traveling south of Thompson Hall and then north along the east side of Jot Travis. During construction there will be periods of high activity and noise from trucks and equipment. Please review this map regarding access during this time.
