International Education Week 2015! November 16-20, 2015
International Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. It is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education, and is part of our efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States.
The University Studies Abroad Consortium® is a non-profit study abroad organization headquartered at the University of Nevada. USAC prides itself on providing quality, affordable study abroad programs and offers programs in 26 different countries.
OISS encourages students and researchers from other nations to come to Nevada. The staff provides information regarding visas, international student admission, employment options, and cultural adjustment.
The International Center brings more than 300 international visitors annually to Northern Nevada. Visiting delegations come here to meet with their professional counterparts and with local community members face to face.
Established in 1982 the Intensive English Language Center provides English language instruction to students preparing for university study and to students wishing to improve their general English ability.
