Panel

Component overview

The Panel component is a container that holds Content Blocks. Putting Content Blocks in a Panel allows you to put multiple Content Blocks in the same row and apply a background color across the Content Blocks.

In the example below, a background color is applied to the Panel element, providing a common background color to all three Content Blocks contained in the Panel.

Panel with no background color

In the example below, the Panel holds 4 Content Blocks. The Panel has no background color, allowing the Content Blocks' background color to create separation among the elements. 

Types of financial aid

There are several sources of financial aid to help students pay for their college education. This aid can come from the federal and state governments, the University, private sources and more.

Scholarships

Scholarships are a form of financial aid you don't have to repay and come from multiple sources, including the University and private organizations.

Grants

Grants are a form of financial aid from the federal government you typically don't have to repay, such as the Pell Grant.

Loans

Student loans come from the federal government and private sources and is money you borrow and have to repay with interest.

Work-Study

Federal Work-Study is a program that allows students to earn money by working part-time on-campus and in other settings.

Panel with one Content Block

In the example below, the Panel has just one Content Block. In this case, Panels can be used to create additional space around the Content Blocks and to add a full-width color on Section Fronts.
