The fly-up program is available to admittable high school juniors, seniors and transfer students from southern Nevada. This unique one-day roundtrip from Las Vegas to Reno will give students the opportunity to do the following:
- Discover and navigate the steps to apply for admission.
- Talk with academic representatives from your academic interests.
- Learn about financial aid and scholarships straight from the experts.
- Hear from our housing experts about your timeline and options.
- Take a walking tour of the university and check out a residence hall.
- Enjoy lunch with us on campus.
Requirements to attend
- High school juniors. An unofficial transcript with a 3.0 academic weighted GPA (NSHE core) or above is required for high school students to attend the trip.
- High school seniors. An unofficial transcript with a 3.0 academic weighted GPA (NSHE core) or above is required for high school students to attend the trip and an application for admissions is on file.
- Transfer students. An unofficial college transcript with a 2.5 GPA or above is required for transfer students to attend the trip and an application for admissions is on file.
- Fee. A $99.00 trip fee payment is required to attend.
