Summary
Arina Pismenny is an assistant professor of philosophy at the University of Nevada, Reno. Before joining the University in 2025, she taught at the University of Florida, where she was also an affiliate faculty member in Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies. Her teaching and scholarship center on moral psychology, ethics, and feminist philosophy, with special focus on emotions, romantic love, sexuality, and social identity.
