Join the University of Nevada, Reno on Monday, Oct. 20, 2025 at 3 p.m. in the Milt Glick Ballroom at the Joe Crowley Student Union for the annual State of the University address given by President Brian Sandoval.
In his address, entitled “Taking Our Place As A National University,” Sandoval will talk about the University’s current status and the progress and vision for the coming era.
Themes of the speech include the University’s record highs in enrollment as well as the infrastructure improvements that meet the needs of students, faculty and staff and increase the University’s footprint throughout Nevada. The address will also discuss the continued gains in research that align with the needs of Nevada and the country, and new efforts the University is taking to better tell the stories of success and institutional impact to a wider audience as a national university.
A reception will immediately follow the address.
