University of Nevada, Reno to hold annual ‘Honor the Best’ celebration

The Wolf Pack will celebrate outstanding individuals who have demonstrated exceptional achievement on May 13

On Tuesday, May 13, the University of Nevada, Reno will host the annual Honor the Best celebration in the Milt Glick Ballrooms from noon to 2 p.m. Faculty and staff are welcome to attend.

The Honor the Best Logo featuring a wolf and "University of Nevada."

Honorees include students, faculty and staff who have demonstrated exceptional achievement in academics, research, leadership and service.

The celebration will begin at noon with the award ceremony, and a reception with photo opportunities will follow.

Awards include the regents awards, foundation awards, university awards, student awards, distinguished awards and a celebration of emeriti faculty. Forty-three individuals will be celebrated. A full list of this year’s recipients can be found on the Honor the Best webpage.

Registration is required by May 12.
