The University of Nevada, Reno is pleased to announce it has been recognized as an Apple Distinguished School for the 2023–2026 program term. The University was selected for this distinction based on its commitment to continuous innovation in education and using Apple products to create exemplary learning practices.
“Access to technology is not equal, but it is expected in nearly all professions and all fields of study,” Executive Vice President and Provost Jeff Thompson said. “We are committed to supporting equality in digital literacy for our students so that each of them can achieve success without a lack of technology as a barrier. We are thrilled to see our efforts recognized by Apple.”
