What's your role on campus?

Technical Editor, College of Engineering

How long have you been riding a bike?

I started biking to work in 2011 and haven't stopped yet!

What's the most fun you've ever had on a bike?

My husband and I biked across Oregon from north to south a few years ago and it was one of the best vacations I've ever taken. Getting to experience the beauty of the Cascades up close at biking pace was incredible, and cycling around Crater Lake was an unforgettable experience. Possibly the best part was working up an insane appetite every day and becoming a bottomless waffle and ice cream repository.

What's great about bike commuting to the University of Nevada, Reno?

"Parking" directly in front of my office for free is a huge perk. My ride in gets me a bit of exercise and makes me grateful to settle into my office chair, and my ride home is a nice chance to clear my head and set a bracket around my workday.
